United Missouri Bank Building - City Landmark #98
The building dates from 1892, but was heavily remodeled in 1925. The original architect was Isaac Taylor.
Although it does not contain the use of rusticated stone, the building is a good example of Richardson Romanesque office structure. The lower two floors are cut stone with a segmental arch entrance. The middle three floors are treated together and topped by six Romanesque arches. The final floor repeats the theme with 12 arches. The building was located at 312 North 8th St.
