From left:  St. Louis County Executive Charlie Dooley; Carla Monroe-Posey, St. Vincent Home for Children; Sister Helen Negri, Marygrove; Bishop Edward M. Rice, Archdiocese of St. Louis; Carmen Schulze, Great Circle; Anna Crosslin, International Institute; and Mayor Francis G. Slay announced a coalition has come together to offer temporary shelter and care for up to 60 Central American refugee children at a time.  The decision if St. Louis is accepted into the Office of Refugee Resettlement Program is expected before the end of September.
