Bugs and Changes
Lists bugs and changes encountered in CommonSpot 7. Check back often for updates.
Overview
Although CommonSpot 7.0 is very similar to the old version we identified few areas that work different from the old version. Some are bugs that require fixes from the software vendor, others represent new ways of using the software. We are documenting these changes as we identify them below along with recommendations to address these changes.
Cut and Paste in a Formatted Text Block
Eventhough the Rich Text Editori in CommonSpot is configured to use the copy and paste options, changes to the Firefox and Chrome browsers do not allow access to the clipboard. Both browsers require extensions to be added, this function is default in Internet Explorer 9. Follow these steps to install the extension in your browser of choice:
Chrome
- Click on the extension paperthin_chrome_extension.crx and download it to your computer
- Click on Chrome Tools, select Extensions
- Drag the file paperthin_chrome_extension.crx to the chrome extensions page
- Restart Chrome. paperthin_chrome_extension.crx displays in your extensions listing
Firefox
- From the Firefox Tools menu, select Add-ons.
- In the Add-ons dialog, click Get Add-ons, then search for AllowClipboardHelper (one word) or download the add-on directly..
- Install the extension and restart Firefox. AllowClipboardHelper displays in your extensions listing

Page Index Filter by Keyword
Filtering by keywords in CommonSpot 7 is case-sensitive.It wasn't in the old version, so there maybe some filters that worked before that do not work now.
